HCHS is in the final leg of recruitment of new participants to the cohort of 4,000 each in Miami, Chicago, San Diego and New York, for a combined total of 16,000 participants! The next phase is data analysis and annual follow ups of our current participants; very exciting work ahead.
Thank you for all the support to the community outreach activities of HCHS in the last years; we could not have been able to make it without your support!
Once the data is worked on, papers will be published and presentations for different audiences will become available. Fact sheets and other resources for the public and the general community will be prepared and disseminated next.
Personally, it has been a pleasure for me to work with the other 3 field centers, the project office at NHLBI, the Coordinating Center and last but not least, clinic staff, recruiters and all community stakeholders and partners of the Miami Field Center since 2007 until now.
