Greetings from the Hispanic Community Health Study-SOL!
• As of this Sunday October 24th, we have reached the milestone of 3,003 participants seen at the Miami Field Center research clinic! Our target goal is 4,000 by June next year, thus we are on our way to successfully reaching our target!
• Reminder: we have a free tobacco cessation program with Miami-Dade AHEC, with support, counseling and free aids for those who enroll. Contact person is Angel Alvarez at 305-597-3640.
• Please find enclosed the November SOL Healthy Lifestyles Calendar for our SOL participants and the community in general. It’s filled with health fairs, free screenings and other events from us and our partners. Thanks to the members of the SOL Community Advisory Committee and the SOL Circle of Friends all the work they do!
